Bangladesh clinched a historic win against South Africa in match number five of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019.
This was South Africa's second successive loss in the 2019 World Cup.
Batting first, Bangladesh posted a record total of 330/6.
The Proteas failed to chased down the target, despite a fifty from Faf du Plessis.

ODI score: Bangladesh post highest ever ODI score
Bangladesh's score of 330/6 is their highest total in ODI cricket.
They eclipsed their previous best ODI score of 329/6 against Pakistan in 2015.
Earlier, their highest total in the World Cup was 322/4 against Scotland in the 2015 World Cup.
This was also Bangladesh's second score of 300-plus in the Cricket World Cup.
It was the sixth highest ODI score at the Oval.

Shakib Al Hasan (75) went past 600 runs for Bangladesh in the World Cup (615).
This was his sixth fifty in World Cup.
Shakib smashed eight fours and surpassed the mark of 50 in World Cup (55).
He shared a 142-run stand with Mushfiqur Rahim.
This was Bangladesh's highest partnership for any wicket in World Cup history.

Mushfiqur Rahim now has 588 runs for Bangladesh in the World Cup. The senior cricketer scored 78 runs and slammed his fifth World Cup fifty. Rahim also notched his 34th career ODI fifty. Meanwhile, Shakib smashed his 43rd career ODI fifty.
Shakib: Shakib's tryst with records continued
Shakib now has 250 wickets in ODI cricket.
He became the 26th bowler in the history of ODIs to surpass the mark.
Shakib has taken the fewest ODIs to have 5,000-plus runs and 250 wickets (199).
The left-arm spinner also notched his fifth century-plus stand with Rahim in ODIs.
The two equalled the tally of Rahim/Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar/Tamim.
Feats: Some notable feats notched by South African players
Imran Tahir now has four wickets in World Cup 2019.
The 40-year-old cricketer took 2/57 and now has 166 career ODI scalps.
Andile Phehlukwayo (2/52) raced to 57 ODI scalps. He surpassed former SA pacer Roger Telemachus (56).
Faf du Plessis (62) smashed his 33rd career ODI fifty.
He equalled Jonty Rhodes with this feat.

Bangladesh showed their intensity right from the start and their openers put up 60 runs for the first wicket.
Shakib and Rahim's stand was the defining moment of the game and gave them the platform.
Mahmudullah (46*) helped them to get to 330.
In reply, SA kept up with the chase, but Bangladesh stayed in the hunt and got those necessary breakthroughs.
